I like to write. Now that I have retired, I have written a novel and a play. Unfortunately when I finished the novel I discovered that it contained 350,000 words. I am now faced with reducing that number. I have done one revision that reduced the size by 4,000 words on my way to the 150,000 I need to cut. Long journey, first step. I enjoy building my community through the performing arts. I am active in theater production. It's fun and I am able to express myself through writing. Walking is important to me and is a daily activity. I like to dine out and consider this an adventure. I go to the local casino on occasion. I win on occasion. I even win and walk out on occasion. The prospect of connecting with people on the internet sounds like fun.
